Talal Al Azmi develops a way to remove contaminants and improve the environment

To save the environment we need tools that remove harmful chemicals and preserve useful ones. Talal Al-Azmi works on doing just that. He is designing molecules that recognize specific harmful compounds, and grab them like a bracelet holding on to a wrist. These molecules are called Pillararenes.
