Sharifa Al-Ragam develops an app for people with Hemianopia

Eyes move back and forth when reading a book. Eyes produce voluntary jerky movements. People who who had strokes or head injuries loose half of their field of view, which makes reading hard due to extra movements. This is known as Hemianopia. Sharifa Al-Ragam created an app that helps patients with Hemianopic Alexia improve reading in Arabic by training patients to make reading easier and faster.
